The walk-up app that already knows your batting order.

BallparkDJ and Walkout Song DJ are walk-up song apps. You type your roster into them a second time. InfieldHQ's DJ board is the lineup the coach already set, and it's free.

Free to start. Runs in the app or a browser.

The InfieldHQ DJ mode Walk-up screen: Kai is now batting number 1 with Play walk-up, Back, and Skip controls, Noor is on deck, and the rest of Atlas United's batting order queues below with a walk-up song icon next to each name.

Nothing on screen says where the audio is going.
Walkout Song DJ: Partly.
Wakes a sleeping Bluetooth speaker so the start is not clipped.

A batter whose song was never set up

What BallparkDJ does better

Two things, and they're not small.

Real big-league announcers

Actual stadium announcers from MLB, NFL, UFC, NCAA and MLS venues will record your player's name. It's $3.99 a player, one time, and it does not expire. We have nothing like it, and if that's the thing you want most, buy it. It's good and it's cheap. (Want it in InfieldHQ? Tell us.)

A licensed music library included

Every BallparkDJ user gets 50,000+ Epidemic Sound tracks with no other subscription, on iPhone and Android both. We need Apple Music on the phone running the board to play a full song. (Want it in InfieldHQ? Tell us.)

For most rec teams the announcer is a parent with a phone anyway, and what actually breaks game day isn't the voice. It's the roster being wrong, the order being different from what's on the clipboard, and nobody knowing who's on deck. That's the part we built.

Where we're different

Three things that fall out of the board and the lineup being the same app.

The order is already there

The coach sets the batting order once. DJ mode plays it in that order, and moves to the next batter for you. Before anyone sets one, it falls back to the roster in jersey order.

Any parent can DJ

A parent opens the app on their own phone and saves their kid's walk-up. No approval step, no share link, and they can run the board too.

Nothing to install

It runs in a browser. When the one person with the app is stuck in traffic, someone else picks it up on a laptop.

The InfieldHQ walk-up song editor for Kai Andersen, number 1 on Atlas United: Thunderstruck by AC/DC selected as the walk-up song, the clip trimmed to 15 seconds starting at 0:42, a Together voice-and-song blend, and Preview walk-up and Save walk-up buttons.

Switching

Bring the songs you already picked

A BallparkDJ export drops straight in. Attach the file to Ask HQ, check what it found, and tap once. Nothing saves until you've seen it, and the batting order was already there.

  • Export your team from your current app, or just paste a list of songs
  • Ask HQ looks up every song in the Apple Music catalog and shows you the matches first
  • Clip start and length come across too, in whatever notation the file used
  • A row it cannot read gets named and skipped, never guessed at

Questions worth asking

Do I need Apple Music?

For full songs, yes, on the phone running the board. Sound effects and a recorded intro play without it, and you can build the whole board before you sort out a subscription.

Can I use my own MP3s?

For sound effects, yes, today. For walk-up songs, not yet. It's coming. (Want it sooner? Tell us.)

Do you have professional announcer voices?

No. You record your own on your phone, and you can preview it before you save. For a big-league voice, BallparkDJ is the one. (Want it in InfieldHQ? Tell us.)

Is it really free?

Yes. Paid league plans are coming for the admin side, and DJ mode isn't what we plan to charge for.

Does it work on Android?

Through the browser today, on any phone. The Android app lands before September.

Do I have to use the rest of InfieldHQ?

No, but the batting order is what makes DJ mode good, so most coaches set that first. It takes about two minutes.

One on one

Just comparing against one of them?

Give every kid a walk-up, free.

Batting order, field positions, and the walk-up songs that follow them. All in one place, on the phone that's already in your pocket.
