Our Story

We were new to the game of softball. Like a lot of families, we raised our hands to help out, and suddenly we were on a journey to learn the sport alongside our community.

It didn’t take long to realize a hard truth: youth leagues are completely powered by volunteers, and those volunteers are drowning in manual tasks. Spreadsheets, group texts, and endless app-juggling were eating up the hours we should have been spending out on the field with the kids.

We have two daughters who play softball, and our family is heavily involved in our local league, tackling everything from coaching to acting as the team DJ, to serving on the board of directors. As a family, we felt the friction of running a season. With a background in software engineering and a shared love for efficiency, we knew there had to be a better way.

That’s why we built InfieldHQ.

InfieldHQ is our attempt to reduce the massive administrative overhead of youth baseball and softball. We wanted to give parents their weekends back. More importantly, we wanted to give coaches their time back so they can actually focus on coaching the players.

Our goal is simple: reduce the communication and coordination chaos so the youth sports experience feels smooth and magical. We want to make it incredibly easy for new families to understand the game, get involved, and volunteer without feeling overwhelmed.

We built this for the families who raised their hands to help.

If there's something we can do better, or a feature your league desperately needs, we'd love to hear from you.
